These are my last photos from Essouria - the quaint fishing village on Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast. The seafood here was incredible (and that’s saying a lot coming from a Florida native!). You could select your fresh catch right out of the fishermen’s hands and they would cook it on the spot for you - any way you like. Now only one more Imperial city to go - Marrakech!...

I’m still daydreaming about my move in January and the possibilities of redecorating. I’ve been collecting images for inspiration and I’ve nearly exhausted The Selby site. I love this home by Pamela Love and Jordan Sullivan!

I am damn desperate for some WINTER weather - the perfect excuse to wear tights, boots, and loads of layers! But alas Florida is still reaching highs of 85 and I look really silly walking around with scarves and stalkings on… Since I can’t revel in sweater weather, I obsess over other fashionable females who can. Love these fall looks!

One of my favorite (and dorky) Thanksgiving traditions is getting up early to watch Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I know, I know, it’s childish but what can I say? The holidays brings the kid out in me.
These photos were taken during the first ever Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924. Back then they would release the balloons into the sky at the finale. To see more...

It’s been a busy couple of days - my sister had a beautiful baby boy and two great friends were married, not to mention Thanksgiving is upon us. It’s enough excitement to make me wanna curl up and sleep for two days solid (hence the photo above).

There are many times in my daily life where I am faced with tough situations like “should I wear spandex or sequins today?”. How does one tackle such difficult questions? It’s really quite simple, just ask yourself WHAT WOULD BOWIE DO?! Answer: Wear both!
Each week I will be sharing a WHAT WOULD BOWIE DO?! post, where I tackle the toughest of situations by channeling the Ziggy...

The remote beaches of Sidi Kouki in Morocco were relaxing, beautiful and full of new furry friends! This place was incredible and I wish I could have brought a puppy as my souvenir.

I need this poster for my office, so that every time someone asks me “but why is this art (while pointing at something remotely modern)” I can lead them into my office, point to this poster and say “that’s why!”.

All this crazy landscape sure can make a man hungry, or so I’m told. While adventuring in the Atlas Mountains we stumbled upon a crazy restaurant populated by wild cats and the occasional passerby. It was such a welcomed surprise and so was the food. Who knew I would find the most delicious potato soup concoction of ALL time?!?
