Reports from the weekend:
Finally used my Moroccan teapot that I haggled over in the souks of Fez. Got a new rug to cover our chilly concrete floors. It feels nice on the feets. Made a delish dinner of Tilapia with roasted new potatoes, lemon, thyme, and kalamata olives. Yum!

I’ve been thinking a lot about vacations lately, mostly day dreams and such. I just can’t shake my memories of a long ago trip to Greece. So after some internet digging I found some (very) old photos taken during my stay in Corfu.
WatchThere is a lot to learn from these silver foxes. In fact, I think that last line was some of the best advice I’ve heard in ages: “Young women, you are going to be an old woman some day. Don’t worry about it. Don’t sweat it. Don’t worry about getting older. Every era builds character!”.
One day I hope I have at least half of their advanced style and character.

Completely in love with Clare Owens’ illustrations and her take on a Parisian lifestyle. Right now I have a very unhealthy obsession with all things Paris and would basically give my pinky finger for a plane ticket to visit the city of lights.

My beautiful best-friend is in town and no visit is complete without a plate of cheese and a glass of wine. I splurged on french brie, cranberry walnut bread, black berries and raspberries, and to top it off - a bottle of New Zealand’s crisp and smooth Cupcake Vineyards wine. YUM!
