Thinking about my lovely mother, Teresa, this weekend and I thought I’d share some of my favorite photos of her, and yes that’s me with the insanely long 80’s hair in the last photo. Happy mothers day all!
When I turned 23 I jumped out of a plane.
Now, at age 29 I am flying the plane. Oh how the tables do turn.
Bits from my birthday. I had a grand ole’ time eating tapas, drinking wine, eating cupcakes, attending the royal wedding (via tele), oh and flying an airplane… I’ll post more on that last one later.
P.S. Check out the awesome card my bf made me. It’s airplane themed!
Reports from the weekend:
Finally used my Moroccan teapot that I haggled over in the souks of Fez.
Got a new rug to cover our chilly concrete floors. It feels nice on the feets.
Made a delish dinner of Tilapia with roasted new potatoes, lemon, thyme, and kalamata olives. Yum!
I’ve been thinking a lot about vacations lately, mostly day dreams and such. I just can’t shake my memories of a long ago trip to Greece. So after some internet digging I found some (very) old photos taken during my stay in Corfu.
My beautiful best-friend is in town and no visit is complete without a plate of cheese and a glass of wine. I splurged on french brie, cranberry walnut bread, black berries and raspberries, and to top it off - a bottle of New Zealand’s crisp and smooth Cupcake Vineyards wine. YUM!
I hope you all have a delicious Friday!
Does anyone else religiously read Miss Moss’s blog? She’s totally brilliant and has impeccable taste, which is why I am (yet again) inspired to reblog her.
Now if you aren’t already a fan of Jeff Bridges, then perhaps you will be won over to know he is not only a successful actor but also a prolific painter and photographer. I just love these behind the scene images from True Grit and the fact that he’s shooting with a an old timer pano camera - the Widelux. Great stuff!
