I’ve always known that Steve Martin was a genius, but after reading his novella An Object of Beauty I am thoroughly convinced. His interpretation of the art world and it’s fashionable characters was as spot on as I’ve experienced in my short 6 year tenure. Needless to say, I got inspired to throw together a Lacey Yeager worthy look (whip smart with a douse of sex appeal).

Being a book lover automatically grandfathers you into the family of magazine obsession. True story. In addition to Apartmento, these are a few of my favs. I got a sneak peek of Purple and Monocle for the first time a few days ago and now I’m addicted.
